What is NIStune?

NIStune is a hardware and software package that allows the factory ECU in most popular Nissan's to be remapped to suit almost any engine modification you can throw at it. Turbo upgrades, injector changes, airflow meter upgrades, fuel conversions, etc. What better ECU is there to run an engine under all conditions than the factory item? It looks after cold start, A/C control, P/S idle up, etc. The ability to change the ECU to suit your modifications means the car can maintain all the luxuries that are often lost or (more commonly) neglected with aftermarket ECU's. To make it even better, its about 1/6th the price of a typical aftermarket ECU.

How does it work?

First of all we Install a NIStune daughter board into your Nissan's factory ECU. *See the list at the end of this artice to check the tunability of your vehicle. The new daughter board allows all the paramaters of the ecu to then be changed either by a USB connection, as in the case of earlier Type 1 vehicles or by connecting to the vehicles diagnostic port, as with Type 2, 3, and 4 Vehicles. Future changes are as simple as just plugging in the laptop, booting up NIStune, and tuning.
